Dan started work in public accounting beginning in 1970 when he came to work for Yerkes & Michels. In 1979 he became a partner of the firm. Dan resides outside Independence, KS with his wife. They have four grown children and numerous grandchildren. Dan enjoys fishing, hunting, golf, coaching Cal Ripken baseball, and gardening.

Emily started work in public accounting when she came to work for Yerkes & Michels in 2005 and became a partner of the firm in 2014. She resides in Neodesha, KS with her family. Emily enjoys reading, anything that takes her outdoors, and spending time with her family.
